At the farmhouse we run our
Garden Café, offering a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst
providing a wonderful view of part of Lyme Bay and across to Portland.
We serve a fine selection of daily specials - good homemade,
unpretentious and wholesome 'comfort food' made using our own organic
meats, herbs and veggies alongside other equaly superb local produce.
Our cakes and scones are baked on the premises daily and our cream tea
is, we are frequently told, one of the best! As everything is made to
order, we can tailor most meals to suite individual dietary
requirements.
The café has proved extremely
popular with both locals and visitors who say that they are made to feel
more like freinds dropping by, rather than customers passing through.
The garden back's onto Eype Down, a woodland backdrop, which during May
has a breathtaking display of Bluebells - a joy to behold (and inhale).
So come and enjoy a quiet break, read the daily papers and local
information provided, study your map, soak up the view - and simply
enjoy!

Mid March to mid
October from 10:30am to early evening, depending on
weather and the sunset.
Join us for
mid-morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. Early dinner is available if
pre-booked. We have no licence to date but are happy for you to bring your
own bottle
with a small corkage fee of £1.50.
We aim to fill that
gap between afternoon tea and the lure of the pub! |
